Supplies and Equipment Needed

Microwave safe glass container
Mixing bowls (3) – Not shown
Digital Scale
Spoon
Butter knife to cut up the Foaming Bath Butter
Rubber gloves
Rubber or silicone spatula
Scissors
Zip lock storage bags – for dispensing (optional)
A stand mixer with a flat beater and a stainless steel whip
Sweet Almond Oil (2 oz.)
8 oz. Natural Jelly Soap Tubs with Lids
Foaming Bath Butter Base (2 lbs.)
Cool Pink mica
Toffeelicous mica
0.15 scoops
Strawberry Fragrance Oil (1 ounce)
Disposable pipette

basic supplies required for this project

Step 1
Take 2 lbs. of Foaming Bath Butter base and place in a mixing bowl.

Step 2
Cut the base up using a butter knife. The smaller pieces make it easier to begin whipping. Slowly beat the base using a Flat Beater for about 1 minute – this helps to prevent the clumping up of the base inside the wire whip beaters when whipping.

Step 3
Weigh out 2 ounces of Sweet Almond Oil. Heat the oil in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds, making it warm, but not too hot. Add the warm oil to the foaming bath butter. Warming the oil helps to soften up the base and aids with whipping.

Step 4
Switch to the whip beater on the mixer and whip on low for 30 seconds to incorporate the oil.

Step 5
Add 1 ounce of Strawberry Fragrance Oil to the base. Continue to whip on low for 30 seconds and gradually increase to high. At the 2-minute mark, stop the mixer and scrape off the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula then continue to whip on high for a total of 5-10 minutes. Notice that it begins to increase in volume. Stop when the base doubles in volume.

Step 7
Using a .15 cc scoop, add 3 scoops of Cool Pink Mica to one of the mixing bowls of whipped base. Stir thoroughly until color is well mixed.

Step 8
To make the Ivory color, add 1/2 scoop of the Toffeelicous Mica to another bowl of whipped base and mix thoroughly. Leave the 3rd container of whipped base uncolored.

Step 9
Fill the your containers in one of 2 ways:

Step 12

Step 1
Repeat Steps 1 through 6 using Green Irish Tweed fragrance oil for a more masculine scent.

Step 2
Split the Whipped Soap into 3 bowls.

Step 3
Color each base with the following and stir well.

• 2 Scoops Enchanted Forest Mica
• 2 Scoops Black Mica
• 2 Scoops Aborigine Amber Mica

Step 4
Take a teaspoon of each color randomly and “plop” each into the container. The goal is to mix up the colors. TIP: Tap on table as jar is filled. Continue to fill each jar in this manner.
