Sometimes wax tarts, or wax melts, are more than just about scent. They are an open canvas for you to be creative with the scents and colors used. Have some fun with your creativity!

Our Ky Para-Soy Tart & Votive Blend Wax makes perfect tarts and votive candles! Our proprietary blend of soy wax and paraffin wax holds up to 10% fragrance oil load and is super easy to use. Great for beginners or masters alike!

Here are a few ideas on how you can make your wax tarts more creative:

Glitter
Sprinkle glitter when a light haze is over the wax. Sprinkling while the wax is too hot will result in the glitter sinking to the bottom of the tart mold.

Carving designs
Carve designs using carved candle tutorial. Leave plain or paint designs with non-toxic craft paint.

Glitter covered cookie cutter embed cutouts
When tart is semi-cooled & still soft, take cookie cutter, dipped in glitter then gently pressed into wax tart.

Painting with wax & pipettes
Carve designs and fill in with hot wax using pipettes.

Watermelon tarts
Layer tart, green on bottom, white in middle, pink on top. When tart is cooled, carve seed shapes and paint with black craft paint.

Creative Glitter Shapes
Paint a thin layer of Mod Podge in creative shapes and then sprinkle with glitter. Let dry and shake off excess glitter to reveal a sparkly shape!

Carving Glittery Snowflakes
Carve snowflake shapes, paint on a thin layer of mod podge and sprinkle with glitter.
